SHIPPING AND RETURN POLICY

WHERE WILL BACKCOUNTRY SHIP?

We are excited to help anyone in Canada we can with their outdoor adventures. We will do our best to find a shipping option to get you the items you need, however due to carrier restrictions, there are some remote locations which we can’t reach with some of our products.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO PROCESS AND SHIP AN ORDER?

Although we will do our best to process an order within 24 hours, there are certain times in which this may become difficult due to unforeseen circumstances. Please note that we do take all statutory holidays off, and certain seasons ( such as the Christmas season ) may affect processing and shipping times.

IN-STORE PICK-UP

In-store pickup will be the fastest and most convenient way for you to get your package with no shipping charge, but please allow us 24 hours to get your order ready.

FIREARMS

Firearms must ship via UPS or Canada post. Although it is always recommended, it is required that any firearm shipped with Canada Post be shipped with a locking device in a locked case ( customer is responsible for purchase of case and lock), via ground. Please note that before we can release your firearm order, we must first complete the license verification with the Canadian Firearms Centre. Please note that the PAL used for the order must match the shipping address of the order. All firearms sales are final.

OVERSIZE/OVERWEIGHT ITEMS

Please note that some items are simply too large or heavy to meet standard shipping charges. These items will have higher than standard shipping costs. Please contact us via phone at 250-785-1461 or email at [email protected] to discuss further options.

HOW TO TRACK MY SHIPMENT?

Once your package has left our warehouse, you will be emailed with a tracking number. If for some reason you do not receive a tracking number, please contact us at 250-785-1461 or by email at [email protected]

DANGEROUS/HAZARDOUS GOODS-

All items that are deemed as dangerous goods must be shipped via a courier, and will have additional dangerous goods charges. Items that will have these additional fees include but are not limited to – Ammunition, powders, primers, fuel, bear spray, etc…

All ammunition, primer, and powder sales are final.

THE HOLIDAY SEASON

Although we will always do our best to get your order shipped out quickly, please understand that during the holidays it is likely that your shipment will experience delays that are out of our control.

RETURNS-

  • Please note that all return inquiries must be made with customer service and ALL returns must have a Return Authorization number. To speak with customer service please contact us by phone at 250-785-1461 or by email at [email protected]
  • All items must have all attached tags, be in it’s original packaging, in new, unused, condition.
  • A copy of the receipt must be with the item. If you’ve lost your receipt, please contact us, as we MAY have a copy on file under your account.
  • All qualified returns made within 7 days of purchase will qualify for in-store credit, or money back.
  • All qualified returns made within 30 days of purchase will qualify for in-store credit.
  • Due to hygienic reasons, all undergarments, socks, swimwear, hearing protection, whistles, mouthcalls, and food products are considered final sale and will not be accepted for return or refund.
