Accepting bags up to 14″ wide, the sealer works with most national brand heat seal vacuum sealer bags but does not work with “chamber style” vacuum bags. The 14″ seal bar makes an extra wide 5 mm seal. A convenient, removable roll storage and cutter make it easy to create custom-sized bags for any food item, while the aluminum construction ensures durability and longevity. This versatile sealer can reduce marinating time or keep valuables secure and dry. The MaxVac® 1000 can also be used to vacuum seal canisters with the external vacuum hose port located under the lid (hose attachment not included).
